  2. The Install program will install the following files onto your hard drive:

  4.      devs (dir)
  5.  
  6.           DOSDrivers (dir)
  7.              CD0            - MountList entry for CD0:
  8.              CD0.info       - .info file for CD0
  9.  
  10.        cd.device            - cd.device that uses SCSI-2 CD-ROMs
  11.        cd.device.config     - cd.device configuration file
  12.  
  13.      l (dir)
  14.        CDFileSystem         - CD's ISO9660 file system
  15.  
  16.      libs (dir)
  17.        lowlevel.library     - disk-based lowlevel library
  18.        nonvolatile.library  - disk-based nonvolatile library
  19.  
  20. In order for this installation program to succeed, you must have a SCSI2
  21. CD-ROM drive attached to a SCSI host adapter (2091/4091 or equivalent). 
  22. You must know the following things:  What the name of the SCSI device
  23. driver is.  If you are installing on a SCSI based system and you are using
  24. a Commodore SCSI host adapter, then your device name will be "scsi.device".
  25. If you are installing on an IDE based system and you are using a SCSI card
  26. to get SCSI capability, then your device name will be "2nd.scsi.device". 
  27. If you are using a third-party SCSI host adapter, the device name may be
  28. different.  You must also know the SCSI ID number of the drive.  IDs range
  29. from 0 to 7 (7 is generally not used).  Consult your drive's manual for
  30. information on how to determine or set your drive's SCSI ID.

  32. The Install program will ask you where you would like any nonvolatile data
  33. (data that the CD application may want to store (high scores, etc...)) to
  34. be stored.  The installer will then create a directory called
  35. "nonvolatile" in the path that you select.  The file
  36. "SYS:Prefs/env-archive/sys/nv_location" will then be created to tell
  37. nonvolatile.library where this directory is located.

  39. Once the installation is complete, you should be able to insert AmigaCD
  40. titles into your SCSI2 CD-ROM drive and, if you have an AGA machine, begin
  41. running them.
